From Syria to United States: ALLUBI® Founder Story
Allubi Yerba MateMy name is AHED MUNI, founder of ALLUBI.
Before ALLUBI became a brand, it was a vision shaped by movement, discipline, and the belief that something meaningful can be built from the ground up.
I was born in Taldara, a small village in Salamiyah, Hama, Syria, in 1999. I studied Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Aleppo, where I developed a deep respect for precision, structure, and the process of building things properly.
Like many people from my generation, I learned early that opportunity is not always given. Sometimes, it has to be pursued across borders, through uncertainty, and through chapters that test your character before they reward your effort.
In 2021, I left Syria in search of a wider future. My path first led me through difficult attempts to reach Europe, then to the United Arab Emirates, where I worked in manufacturing, welding, machining, and later real estate. Each stage taught me something different: discipline, patience, adaptability, and the value of earning every step forward.
During that period, I was selected for the U.S. Diversity Visa Program. It was a turning point, but not an easy one. I arrived in the United States with limited resources and a clear determination to build a new life. In Texas, I worked long hours in demanding jobs, learned a new culture, improved my English, and continued moving toward one goal: to build something of my own.
That goal became ALLUBI.
Yerba mate is more than a drink. Across generations, it has represented energy, focus, hospitality, and connection. It is a ritual shared between people, a moment of presence in a fast-moving world.
When I created ALLUBI, I did not want to create just another product. I wanted to build a brand rooted in authenticity, quality, and trust.
ALLUBI was built for people who care about what they consume, where it comes from, and the values behind it. Our mission is to bring premium organic yerba mate to people around the world while staying committed to honest sourcing, clean ingredients, and uncompromising standards.
To me, ALLUBI represents more than entrepreneurship. It represents the courage to start over, the discipline to keep building, and the belief that a brand can carry both quality and purpose.
The goal was never simply to sell yerba mate.
The goal is to build a global brand people can trust for generations.
This is only the beginning.
