Taste & preparation

Expect an earthy, grassy, naturally bitter infusion. Your brewing method controls the intensity. For a light filtered mug, try 1–2 teaspoons per 8 fl oz of water, steeped around 3–5 minutes. These are taste suggestions, not a measured caffeine serving.

For traditional mate, use a cup and bombilla and refill the moistened side. Begin with brewing water around 158–176°F (70–80°C), then let it cool comfortably before sipping.

Do I need a mate cup? Only for traditional sipping; a French press or tea infuser can make a filtered mug.

Does it contain caffeine? Yes, naturally. The amount varies by preparation. We do not promise a fixed milligram amount, no jitters, or no crash.
